The client for this project was Monstercat, an independent electronic music record label and media company. Launched in 2000, global audio streams exceed 200 MLN on a monthly basis.

Project brief

These works were created for music artist, soupandreas, for a number of his releases including: Melatonin, Sprite, and Over You on independent record label, Monstercat. Artworks were created with a number of different methods including 3D, vector illustration, and photoshop. In addition to the artworks, some animations and motion graphics were created for the media company’s YouTube channel. Animations were designed to be a seamless loop of maximum 30 seconds. Typically the track would be rendered separately where graphics in the background would play in addition to the visualizer for the duration of the song.
