Zac Waters

This artwork was created for music artist Zac Waters for his single release, Freak on independent record label, Monstercat. For the artwork, the artist gave an open-ended brief allowing the designer’s choice. In the end, the option was to pursue a photography-style album artwork and create imagery that gave a sense of curiosity as to who the subject represents. This particular project also involved animation of the photographed scene as well as motion graphics with typography in such a way to create a seamless loop for the record label’s YouTube channel. Typically the track would be rendered separately where graphics in the background would play in addition to the visualizer.
